As far as my friends are concerned, all are very competitive in humour and each one is loathed with his share of funny experiences. The sad thing is that I never came across a friend among girls who is equally humourous. May be the difference in gender comes along to put a hurdle in having friendly relationships.
My first friend ( as I could remember) was a girl “sweety”. That friendship lasted for few months and after that my selection of friends was limited to boys. Probably it happens in everyone`s life that at certain age (10yrs) he/she goes for friends with same gender. My taste of friendship got ruined in a school run by RSS in which they erased every possibility of having girls as friends. Soon after I left that hell and joined another school which gave me 4 friends in girls and many others. Out of those 4 ie Ashi,Arti, Chandni and Divya I finally found the best friend I could ever find. Friendship with boys left a different impression though.
After leaving school, I got a friend who I never imagined could be a friend too. He accompanied me during my hard days of JEE preparation. He is none other than my brother. Friendship with him was free from any jealousy, desire and it laid our ways to IITs.
From there on, I got a crowd of friends during Ragging (better call it informal introductions). Chatting made my friendlist grow enormously. From there on I realized that friends could be made without even seeing them, though this mode of friendship is no less than a normal friendship. One can fight, argue and admire a net friend . Mishi, sufia, nuzhat,Owais (from pakistan) fahtima (Phillipines),Rozie (Iran) and Rewa di,J.Jyoti (India) are such gifted net friends.
“Hail Ymessenger,gtalk and orkut”.
Last but not least, I might get to start a relation which is worth everything for me. That relation is in its initial phase of friendship and i am sure it will cross the limits to best friend reaching upto a more fascinating and unique relation.
Credit goes to orkut and gtalk for making me hunt this friend.
At last, I would like to place some names (frm IITK) to whom I want to say ” Friends like u are rare. I wish I could find u guys in my next life too”.
